The Wolverines now have to deal with two more significant injuries this fall. The school announced that Freshman Linebacker Kaleb Ringer, a three-star recruit out of Ohio, and Chris Bryant, a red shirt Freshman, both sustained season-ending injuries. Ringer underwent season-ending knee surgery recently and is expected to make a full recovery. He will redshirt this season. Ringer was one of three 2012 recruits to arrive on campus early in January, but he was not expected to have a significant role for the Wolverines on defense. Although there probably would have been some playing time this year, he was not competing for a starting position with everyone in front of him on the depth chart healthy.
